1. About AVERMIA

These Terms of Sale apply to purchases made from AVERMIA at avermia.com for delivery in the United Kingdom. The legal seller is JM STRATEGY LLC, trading as AVERMIA, a limited liability company registered in New Mexico, United States (filing number 3175640).

Please review our Delivery & Returns, Privacy Policy, 100-Day Satisfaction Guarantee and Contact information before ordering.

2. Products and suitability

Product descriptions explain what is included in each option. Our current IPL kit range is:

  • Essential — £99.90: AVERMIA IPL device and power adaptor.
  • Comfort — £119.90: Essential kit plus Soothing Cream.
  • Complete — £129.90: Comfort kit plus Serum.

All kits contain the same IPL device. Additional skincare does not increase its light output or hair-removal effectiveness. Conventional IPL relies on pigmentation in the hair and is not suitable for white, grey or very light hair. Always check the instructions supplied with your device for hair and skin compatibility, permitted treatment areas, patch testing, contraindications and safe use. Results differ between people and no particular result or timeframe is guaranteed.

3. Prices and payment

All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP) and include applicable taxes. Standard delivery in the United Kingdom is free. The total payable is shown before you place your order. We accept the payment methods made available at checkout. Purchases are one-off orders, not recurring subscriptions, unless a separate recurring offer is expressly chosen.

4. Ordering and contract formation

You can review and correct your order details before submitting your order. After an order is placed, we will send the relevant order information to the email address provided. We may decline or cancel an order where we cannot supply the goods, a payment cannot be authorised, or an obvious pricing or listing error occurs. We will provide any refund required by law if an order cannot be fulfilled.

5. Delivery

We provide free standard UK delivery with an estimated delivery period of 5–7 working days. Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays. The estimate is not a guaranteed delivery date. If delivery is delayed, contact us at contact@jm-strategy-llc.com. Your statutory rights in relation to late or missing deliveries remain unaffected.

6. Your statutory right to cancel

For most purchases made online, you may cancel without giving a reason within 14 days after receiving the goods. For a single order delivered in separate consignments, the period normally runs from receipt of the last item. You then normally have a further 14 days after telling us that you are cancelling to send the goods back.

To exercise this right, email contact@jm-strategy-llc.com or send a clear cancellation notice to our business correspondence address above. We will provide the correct returns destination and instructions by email. Contacting us for these instructions does not mean your right to cancel is subject to our approval.

For change-of-mind cancellations, the customer pays the direct cost of return postage, unless law requires us to pay. Statutory exceptions may apply to certain sealed items for genuine health-protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed; merely opening an IPL device does not automatically remove cancellation rights. We may make a lawful deduction for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the goods.

Refunds for valid statutory cancellations will be made as required by law, generally within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or evidence that they have been sent back, whichever is earlier. This includes any standard outbound delivery charge where legally refundable.

7. Faulty or misdescribed goods

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for their intended purpose and as described. If an item is faulty, damaged or not as described, contact contact@jm-strategy-llc.com for a remedy. Depending on the circumstances, your rights may include a refund, repair or replacement. We will cover costs where the law requires this. Nothing in these terms restricts your statutory consumer rights.

8. Additional 100-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

In addition to your statutory rights, we offer a voluntary 100-Day Satisfaction Guarantee on the AVERMIA IPL device, starting on the date it is delivered. The guarantee covers the value of the IPL device only, not the skincare products supplied in Comfort or Complete kits. At the current regular kit prices, the device component is valued at £99.90; the refund will never exceed the amount actually paid attributable to the device.

A written guarantee claim must be emailed to contact@jm-strategy-llc.com within 100 days of delivery. The device must have been used normally and safely in accordance with the supplied instructions, and be returned with its original box and all supplied device accessories. The customer pays the return postage and must send the device within 14 days of receiving return instructions.

We may ask for reasonable evidence of genuine use: close-up before-and-after photographs of the same permitted treatment area, a short safely recorded use video, and approximate dates of sessions. Where these would be unsafe or unreasonable to provide, an equivalent form of evidence may be considered. No particular cosmetic improvement is required. Proof requirements for this voluntary guarantee do not apply to statutory cancellations or faulty-goods claims.

Please see the full 100-Day Satisfaction Guarantee for all terms. This voluntary guarantee does not replace or limit your legal rights.

9. Customer support and complaints

For delivery, orders, returns or complaints, email contact@jm-strategy-llc.com or telephone +1 986 289 1303. Please include your order number when available. Do not send full payment-card numbers or security codes by email.

10. Personal information

Our handling of personal information, including information sent with a voluntary guarantee claim, is explained in our Privacy Policy. Buying a product does not require agreement to optional marketing communications.

11. Consumer protections and applicable law

Nothing in these terms excludes or reduces mandatory consumer protection rights available under applicable UK law. Where a provision conflicts with such rights, the statutory protection takes precedence. The law and jurisdiction applicable to any dispute will be determined under the relevant legal rules, without removing mandatory UK consumer protections.

12. Changes

We may update these terms for future purchases. The terms applicable to an order are those made available when the contract is formed, subject to your statutory rights.
